Re: GMC pictures please
My goodness these are some beautiful trucks.
I know of a 1967 GMC with a 327 that is priced just right. I would love to have it and fix it back up proper. The only hold up is there are several areas of rust through in the cab. Truck was originally from Alabama. Keith Last edited by lil hoodlum; 10-23-2011 at 05:31 PM. Reason: wrong year |

Here's my 72 GMC 4x4. Bought it a couple years ago and painted it in my basement. Drive it every day.

Re: GMC pictures please
Thanks! That was my first paint job, I sanded the entire truck down to bare steel. There was no rust but the last person to paint it apparently didn't own a hammer, instead of tapping out the dents he filled them with Bondo. I literally filled a 5 gallon bucket with the Bondo I knocked off of it!

Here's mine when I brought it home last year.
I'm not allowed to work on it until I finish the baby room (which should be done by the time the kid's in high school ) |

Re: GMC pictures please
You should tell her that surface rust on your tailgate is contagious and will spread to her yellow Pontiac if she doesn't let you work on it soon!

Re: GMC pictures please
How about this one :
You can see a little more of it in these: I was enjoying a rare drive in the snow. I had owned it 10 years and never had it in any. I only did it because it was the first snow and there had been no salt spread yet that year. Kinda sucks to have a 4wd you can't use in snow. I used to use these for 12 months but those days have past (as long as I live around here)
