Re: How do these mirrors look?
A bit big but not too bad. Hey, where did you get those fender flares?

Re: How do these mirrors look?
Personally, I like having big rear view mirrors. It lessens the blind spots, and I switch back and forth between the full size, and the Jr's just to change it up once in a while. I guess it's more of a functionality thing for me.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Sometimes you need big mirrors.

Re: How do these mirrors look?
To each his own. Mirrors are too big when you hit something with them and too small when you hit something you don't see. My '72 Suburban had sport mirrors for two days! The aftermaket replacements (circa '82) had some vibration but I could see the rear wheels of my trailer. My '72 C10 had the jr's and were a great general mirror but really no different than the tripods we have on another brand pickup. My favorites are the w/c seniors but they are huge and only slightly forgiving. Best bet if you are hauling a bigger trailer or running a camper and a trailer would be the four point camper mirrors.

Re: How do these mirrors look?
It bugged me all night because those mirrors looked familiar but not exactly right either. Then it hit me. Late 60's Ford Camper Special. Sure, the heads are later semi truck replacements but the arms look stone stock Ford to me. I'd say its time to dig up some Chevrolet Camper Mirrors RPO DF2.

I like big mirrors on long beds tow vehicles etc. if mine wasn't a short step bed thats what I'd have, I kind of like cab lites too.

Re: How do these mirrors look?
Wow...the mirrors will definetly make or brake the look of a truck and i certainly did not want to go drilling some big holes in my doors only to regret it. They do look a lot like the F*&d mirrors posted above.
71sierragrand- the flares are molded into the bed. The front fenders match. Both are falling apart. Too many years of bouncing around. The outer lip is the steel wheel arch with fiberglass creating the flare. Slomotion- your truck is beautifully done. Still on the search for mirrors.
