Re: Pics of OEM 1972 seats
I got the above fabric and vinyl from SMS to recover my seats - bucket seats. Does anyone have a picture of 70-72 bucket seats with cloth inserts. Not to sure about the placement of the scroll pattern or if any. Thanks David

D.PASSMORE, do you think the SMS parchment fabric is too dark?
They sent me samples of what they have and it didn't look to match.

Re: Pics of OEM 1972 seats
Can anyone tell me what seat upholstery my suburban would have had with option code 660? Unfortunately, someone decided to recover the seats at some point in time!

In fact they looked like litew8's back at post 22. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...9&postcount=22 Unfortunately they are not, to my knowledge, reproduced. So you are looking at custom sewn covers using insert cloth and scrolled vinyl from a specialty supplier such as SMS or the like. Plus the special ribbed pattern vinyl on the backside of the seatbacks. Three seat sets are going to add up fast!!! The vinyl and velour covers you have now were a very common, inexpensive, replacement style. Have you looked under the covers you have? It was common practice at the volume shops (like ours) to trim off the welting and slide the new cover over the existing cover.
