Re: SWB budget frame off- East Tx Squares style
I needed an engine harness, and as always I wasnt going to spend ANY money.
So I scrounged up some old harnesses that needed work I decided that the harness in the middle was in the best shape. On the operating table No bueno After about an hour I came up with this Much better Heres the junk I took out I deleted the oil pressure sensor for the choke, and the fuel selenoid thing. Not sure what it did. I still need to wrap it in loom but I will do that whenever I start putting it on the cab and motor.

Re: SWB budget frame off- East Tx Squares style
UPDATES!!!
well, I finally got the cab on, man Im excited. It went on without any problems. after a quick test fit I picked it back up and gave the firewall a quick coat of satin black to clean the looks of things up Rolled it outside to get a good look at things, we also bolted up some old junk manual doors, just to keep rain and sasquatches out of my cab while were working my nice doors. I pulled the column out of my old dually and bolted it up, it went right in without a problem, me like. also as a side project, Ive been working on a new shop toolbox, I aquired an old waterloo toolbox, and after a day of painting, I made it my own. The bottom box still needs to be finished, but you get the idea. I took a trip to harbor freight and bought some goodies, they had socket sets on sale and a cool telescoping ratchet, I also got some nut drivers, I hardly ever need them but they are so handy when I do! well this is all for now, please comment. thanks for looking!

Re: SWB budget frame off- East Tx Squares style
That truck is looking mucho bueno!!! Sasquashes are a real problem in East Texas. Just roll those windows up. They only have two fingers on each hand and can't push the button and pull at the same time. Where did u get those doors at???

Re: SWB budget frame off- East Tx Squares style
Update!
I raided an old gmc dealerships storage building and ran across these And made some progress on my truck, brought it back to my house so I can work on it everyday, just set the bed and front clip on. The motor looks pretty in there. comments please... I feel like I'm talking to myself lol
