Re: With a Little Work it can be a Piece of Crap
Love the title of the thread.
I too bought a truck off of ebay 6 years ago. Was an abandoned '69 GMC 2500 Custom Camper for $1050. After putting new brakes in it, drove it from Nebraska to Maryland on a wing and a prayer. Gotta love these old trucks! AL '69 GMC 2500 Custom Camper '69 Chevy C10 396BB |

Re: With a Little Work it can be a Piece of Crap
I see these old trucks everywhere from nicely restored occaisional drivers to battered daily drivers to everything in between and I enjoy seeing everyone. Its nice to see them being used daily or just out for a cruise. Mine will be my daily driver when its finished and I will still enjoy looking at others works in progress and keep my eye out for the next one. I know where so many of these old beauty's are sitting just waiting for their current owners to decide to sell them or better yet fix them. Its amazing what ideas you can get from what everyone else has done to their truck .
