Re: Parting 69 GMC 1 ton

Is there a sway bar available? Give me a price for shipping to 16335. Don't need any brackets, only the bar.

Thanks

Re: Parting 69 GMC 1 ton

DaHos...The visors, door panels, seat belts, and arm rests are available. I will pull and check condition today.
CP1010...I have a couple of high hump cabs, but freight will be pricey unless you are making it down this way.
1970-Old Betsy...The sway bar to PA is $52 shipped.

Thanks,
Ray

Re: Parting 69 GMC 1 ton

I pulled the belts...$25 plus shipping. There are some small cracks in one retractor housing and they need to be lubed and cleaned. Pics:

BigO61...All of my 72 and older dually wheels are split rim. I have a set of 79 motorhome dually wheels if you want to consider using them.

Hi,

I ended up picking up 4 16.5" dually wheels last weekend that don't fit my 69. They were on a '72 that apparently had slightly bigger hubs and lugs. Let me know if you might be interested.

Hi Ray,

Wondering about that manual in the first pic. Might be nice to have one for my truck.

Thanks

Re: Parting 69 GMC 1 ton

The heater controls have no broken arms, but one arm might be slightly bent as it just misses hitting another arm. The threads on one mounting screw is bad as the PO used a through bolt to attach to dash. The arms move freely. $27 shipped.
Thanks,
Ray

Re: Parting 69 GMC 1 ton

Hi, you mentioned that you have a few cabs. I would be interested in seeing photos of any non-a/c cabs you have. GA is not so far away from NY that shipping (or maybe even picking up) is not impossible.

Re: Parting 69 GMC 1 ton

Hey Ray,
Just wondering...since you are going to scrap that cab, is there a way i could get a few pieces off of it? I dont mind if it is a bit rusty, I just need some sort of template so i can make the piece.
