Re: 69 short bed
I struggle to keep my smallish 2 car garage organized much less clean. I've wanted to do this to the floor but I'm not sure I could do it all at once vs doing in 2 parts...just too much stuff to move out at once.

Re: 69 short bed
You can do it in two parts, that is what I was going to do. I got about 2/3 done and the epoxy started setting up, (its a lot faster if you have someone going behind you spreading the flakes which I did not have). So I mixed up another can to finish it. You can see the transition between the two, not happy with it but life goes on. It should blend in better once it dries fully.

Well, the frame is back in the shop. Man does it look different, is so glossy it looks wet. Right now it is upside down.....I have some work to do.

Has anyone built any kind of trans cross memeber that bolts to the frame but then extends further back parallel to the frame to help strengthen the rest of the frame. I noticed while moving this frame around that is shakes and wobbles like crazy.

Re: 69 short bed
I stripped the axle down today, I had to cut the bolts that bolted the axle to the trailing arms. Its all stripped down, ready for powder coating.

Re: 69 short bed
Today was a big day, I got the rear end to the powder coater and picked up my intake that I had media blasted. Then took the motor to the machine shop. I seriously tweaked my back lifting the motor into my truck, I'm getting to old for this stuff (26 yrs lol). I'm pretty excited to get the motor back.

Edelbrock Performer rpm with edelbrock 600 carb. This may be a temporary set up, that I will end up using on another project, It just depends.

Re: 69 short bed
I inspected the rear differential. Dana 44 with 3.73 gears, going to put it all together once the motor is completed.

Re: 69 short bed
What your looking at are dart pro1 aluminum heads with guides, arp studs, and scorpion 1.5 roller rockers. I'm liking the weight savings.

Re: 69 short bed
Not yet, but working on it. Finishing up the motor, then working on the suspension.
