Re: harmless truck pranks

Right before an old friend of mine would do something stupid with several of us in his 87 Monte Carlo SS, always preceded by a "Hey Y'all watch this!". Whoever was in the front passenger seat would reach over and shut off the ignition, pull out the key, and drop it on the floor. Got him yelled at by more than one angry driver at a light!
We would also let the air out of his air shocks on his 77 Olds Delta 88 Indy pace car. He would go to school with the rear end all jacked up in the air, and leave looking like he was going to the hood.

Re: harmless truck pranks

I once wired a smoke bomb to a friends new Toyota truck. We had just talked about how sometimes fuel can leak onto the exhaust and boom! Anyway we were going to get parts for our race bikes and I said hey, I'll drive nah, let's take my new truck he says(smoke bomb was wired into a spark plug cap) so he turns the key and black smoke starts billowing out of the grille. We were at the tender young age of Nineteen(knew a little about everything and a whole lot about nothing) and this sounded like a great idea to me at the time(way wrong) Police then fire dept! I had a lot of splayning to do. Now we are both 53 and are still buddy's. Looking back it was stupid but hey, we were kids! Cheers, Pat

Re: harmless truck pranks

I used to pull pranks on my co-workers and bosses when I was working on a Survey Crew for the Nevada DOT. When their trucks were parked at or near the jobsites, I would sneak over there and turn the radio 'full blast', turn the wipers on high, turn the heater on full blast (in 115 degree weather), signals... it was funny to see their reactions when they turned the key on. You could read their lips... "Dam it Hoser!!" (or worse) Man that one never got old...

Re: harmless truck pranks

A guy I work with once put powdered sugar in the vents on another guys truck at work and turned the air to full blast and closed all the vents but the two closest to the unlucky person to start the truck. When the unlucky person hit the key the powdered sugar flew everywhere and he bailed out of the truck screaming due to being scared to death. He later said that he thought the truck was blowing up thats why he screamed. There was a perfect silhouette of where he was sitting when he started the truck. I almost died from laughing it was so funny to watch. The prankster did clean up the mess and the prankee came around and had a pretty good laugh about it because he said that he always wanted to do something like that but was afraid it would ruin something. ( Names with held in case of anyone that doesn't know about this at work finds this.)

While your friend is at work, put a for sale sign on his truck parked outside with his cell # on it.

THAT happen a lot were I used to work. It was just too easy with 1500 cars/truck in the parking lot and close to a 100 real for sale sign on any given day.

Re: harmless truck pranks

on the latest job im working this is what one of the guys did to another guy on the crew.. he went to his unlocked vw rabbit and put flour down the vents on the driver sides. He aimed said vents at the head of the driver and placed the fan setting on dash vents and high fan.. at the end of the work day while cleaning up with the hose ( the guys are laborers on a construction site im running at one of my properties) the prankster made sure he took the hose and wet the guy who owns the volkswagen, a guy named phil.. well phil runs to his car gets in and starts the car and poof... hence we have the birth of the philsbury dough boy

Re: harmless truck pranks

there are some pretty good pranks in here. I have mainly just done little things like a for sale sign or bumper stickers, but I have also done the zip tie on the driveshaft and packing peanuts in my buddies truck.
