Do you know if he prints or has them printed with any type of UV coating or something to help protect against the elements?
Have you the chance to spray them with water to see if the ink holds up? Just curious, they look like they're done well.

Yes these things are a very high quality and have like a hard urethane coating built up on them and I have had a set on one of my trucks for a few years now. These to me are a better grade than the factory ones because thaey do not fade as bad. If you want to buy a pair and do not like them then I will refund your $ in full.

Sorry, it's nice to know they're available but being a graphic designer and having high quality inkjet printers, fading was the first thing I thought of! I actually have 3 pairs of NOS versions, althought from the pics and the way you describe them I might have to think about (as soon as I get some $) buying a pair from you then offing the others on eBay.
Are the silver lines are your raised as well?

Dazza I will try my best to answer your question, (These are for the REAR caps only. These are the thick lucent emblems, not a thin sticker. They are 3 & 1/2 inches, self adhesive.) The info is from the guy that I get these from and they are not raised like the OE ones. I have sold many of these on the board in the past and nothing but praise on the quality of these emblems. They do have the foil backing. This is not just some cheap sticker and I have run these on my trucks and love them.

Thanks PT, like I said they look excellent. As for being raised, just curiosity, as a matter of fact, I don't think I ever realized it until I started restoring my truck and got a new pair!

Tip, take a heat gun or a hair dryer and from the inside of the cap and and heat it up to get the old glue to release and then once you have the old emblem off take some carb cleaner or thinner to remove the rest and then simply apply the new one. I personally like to warm up the front side of the cap before I install the new one.
