Bably blue wheels, poverty caps and trim rings. Lowered slightly. I like the look of my wheels. Im in no hurry to get my Rally's put on.
Tires are 215/70R15 front and 235/75R15 rear. Lowered 6/8 with rear air shocks. |

Could we not call them "poverty caps?" This is such a negative word and displays very negative thinking.
And yes, i do run these. i prefer to call them "step van" hubcaps. For obvious reasons. |

Re: 15x7 steelies with poverty caps-lets see em
Thank you. i would accept "dog dish" a little more. Although i think there are even better alternatives.
Poverty, i think, is a little negative. Actually, if you look at the prices for a replacement cap at LMC i doubt you could be living in poverty to afford one. That's one of the reasons why i find the term poverty to be a little offensive. P.S. My favorite ones are the gmc 3/4 ton caps----6 spokes instead of five, like FJ's above. |

EDIT: And,what's up with "dog dish" anyway?I mean, does anyone have a dog that eats off a dish? My dogs always ate out of bowls. Even my daughter's poodle eats from a bowl. Here's a truck I had with 9.75s and hubcaps and the Jimmy I currently own, with 7" wheels and hubcaps:

Re: 15x7 steelies with poverty caps-lets see em
Here's a pic of my plain wheels with 225 75 15s. Those tires are too small. That truck has rallies on it now.
If you're going to use 15x7 wheels at close to stock height, I really recommend 255 70 15 tires. I don't have them on plain steel wheels, but here's a pic on factory aluminum wheels. I really like them.

Do these fit on rally wheels? I hate the stock center caps on mine... They looks so 4x4ish.

Re: 15x7 steelies with poverty caps-lets see em
I ran these for a short time. Been thinking of doing this look again, but have the rims widened out to 8" minimum. Maybe run a 255-70-15 or a 275-60-15

Fact: hub caps and wheel covers are safety items. They were originally put on so you could hear when a lug nut fell off.

Re: 15x7 steelies with poverty caps-lets see em
I call them lug nut containers when I'm removing a wheel (set on a rag so as not to scratch the "poor" things)
