Re: How's it looking so far???

OK, so maybe a few of you guy's could give me some input on the braking sustem on this thing. Have wilwood disc all the way around and have been reading alot on a Hydro Boost system. Any thoughts, advice on this system?? I sure like the idea of a cleaner firewall and I am learning they will stop you instantly. Power steering pump I am sure will work, came from Vintage air on the frontrunner kit. Talk to me......

Re: How's it looking so far???

Those are not the wheels going on it. Those are the wrong size wheels that Santa Claus brought and did not read my list correctly
20's and 18's are being built by INTRO. Should be here in 4 weeks.

Re: How's it looking so far???

The 6-spoke Americans look like they fit fine.
Maybe they just need a shorter tire.
They won't fit this good up front on a non-Dropmember equipped truck.

What do you not like about them?

Re: How's it looking so far???

The 20's in front won't fit. The end of the tie rod is hitting and there is NO room with the inner fender well. They have the wrong backspacing. I thought, well heck, I will just get some 18" for the front, well, they don't make a 18" in that wheel, so that idea got thrown out. And, can't get Goodyear Eagles in 18's for the front. Had to buy new wheels and tires. Hopefully everything fits when it all comes in. It all should fit if our measurements are correct.

Re: How's it looking so far???

Can you guy's help me where to find replacement windows??? I got the windshield and the rear window covered here at home.....but, the door windows and the wing window, where is the best place to get them. Also, would like to have them tinted. I see Brothers has the whole replacement wing window, might be a good idea to just replace the whole thing. Any comments would help. Truck is getting clear coats as we speak, motor is getting dyno'ed and should be dropping it in this week. I will have pics up shortly. Any feedback on the windows sure would help.

Thanks!!!

Ha Ha, well, to tell you the truth, I am finding out.....or my wife is finding out, that this is a once in a life time thing. Fun, yet very spendy indeed. She keeps saying Mama needs a new pair of shoes, I keep saying not yet. But, we are getting closer everyday.

WFIW: If you click on the quotation symbly to the right of each question you want to answer and they hit "reply" at the bottom of the page, it will put all the questions in one reply and you can answer them that way instead of 3 different posts. Only took me about 5 years to figure that one out! LOL
