Re: Picked up a new toy/daily driver!
Got bored, had a few parts layin around the garage.. The tailgate band isn't "correct" but it gets the job done. I was just sick of it being in the way.

Man that is a clean little truck. Can't wait to see the interior back together. The tailgate band looks killer.

The '86 is pissing me off, sticking it in storage for a few months. I have to take a break from it.

Re: Picked up a new toy/daily driver!
LOL yes thats mine!! NO I'm not selling it. I was bored at work on friday and put it on there. Just wanted to see what people had to offer, I'm removing the add Sunday night. I have no intentions of getting rid of it, I have way more stuff id get rid of before my truck.
Its here to stay! PS was wondering if someone here would notice haha!

Re: Picked up a new toy/daily driver!
Killer daily. I'm super jealous.
I'd loose the tailgate band though. That truck has an awesome "plain jane" vibe going for it. I think the band kinda detracts from that. ...But you know what they say about opinions. |

Re: Picked up a new toy/daily driver!
Thanks guys,
Jcampbell - I know what you mean about the plain jane look. I just wanted to use that damn band, Ive had it for like 3 years was sick of moving it around all the time. Tim - lol! It was kind of dumb luck finding this truck, The guy had posted it for sale a few times and then finally was looking for a trade and I just happened to have a quad that I never rode.

Re: Picked up a new toy/daily driver!
Man that truck is clean. I love it, I would love to find a 4 speed 6cyl 2wd truck as a Summer Daily Driver. I'd lower it on 15" stocker painted silver or white.

Re: Picked up a new toy/daily driver!
I love the truck. The bumper is a definite upgrade, the tailgate band looks good too. If you decide to leave it on, take the emblem off and polish it up with this stuff from lowes: http://www.lowes.com/pd_57122-76354-...ductId=3035639 Someone here recommended it to me, it'll bring some shine back. I used an orbital to apply, works well. BTW, I only wish I had floor boards like that.
