Re: Now, I'm getting serious!!!! LOL

Also, sold the truck in my avatar a couple of days ago. That money will be used to get the LS power plant. If we can stay on course project"Quickie" will be done by Thanksgiving. I just trying to decide whether I stay with the interior color(maroon) and paint the exterior that color or make a complete color change. Decisions,decisions...

Re: Now, I'm getting serious!!!! LOL

Just stripped the cab to get ready for paint, the bed is almost complete and the LS drive train will be on order soon. Project "Quickie" is coming along nicely. The hardest decision, what color to paint it.....

Oh, here's my other project happening in Florida. I've had this car since 2007 waiting to build it. I'm giving it to my wife as a play toy.

The 69 is what will be the new truck. Since I was able to sell the bed from that truck and recoup all my money back, I decided to use the cab and front clip for my SWB project. I'll also be selling the 69 LWB roller frame.

Re: Now, I'm getting serious!!!! LOL

There is also a parts for sale specifically to the 67-72 trucks that will give you lots of coverage... Try posting them here.

Thanks, I knew that that area existed, but since I've already had some guys following this thread, I put it up here first. I'll start a new thread when I have pictures of all the parts left over from my current build.

I wish mine was coming along this quickly. Can't wait to see the finished product. I may be interested in the wheel covers if I can get verification that they will work with the Wheel Vintiques smoothies. I'm not sure they will, I think they can only use a dog dish cap.

The holidays backed us up a little however we did get the firewall smoothed and this after this week, we'll be laying paint. I've located the LS power plant and we'll be mocking it up after the cab is painted.

Woot woot, nice! Are you going to be running a carb? I think you would be happier with injection.

Running a carb! I wanted LS however wanted some old school look as well.I have a tendency to do different from everyone else, that's why my name is one off. I like creating something you don't see in a lot of trucks. Just wait to see what I plan for the electronics!! LOL...
