Re: Squarebody Avalanche
Considering we have alot of Mexican people here on this website, I dont think that is cool to say the way you said it. I guess its a good thing this guy isnt a member here because he would probably feel pretty bad with all this BS negativity. Regardless of the style, good or bad, I got to give him credit for being different.

Re: Squarebody Avalanche
I hear ya. There are stereotypes everywhere, for everyone. There are some that reflect positively, and those that reflect negatively. Some people need to have thicker skin and stop I have met a lot of different people from a lot of different places, pretty much all of them have acknowledged any bad stereotypes that might follow them. After talking to them I realize they will probably use negative/derogatory terms towards their own peers that have it coming just as much as I will.
po·lit·i·cal cor·rect·ness Noun A doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end. For my on topic comment: part that thing out, someone had no business getting near it with a sawzall.

Re: Squarebody Avalanche
Cool mod yes, but its done all hillbilly style! I think thats like watching someone put a Toyota engine in a nova, u can "tastefully" merge old and new in little ways but that is just fugly.

Re: Squarebody Avalanche
I saw one of those here in Montana about 2 months ago and nearly got in a wreck cause I was looking at it and not the road. Not my taste but I can appreciate the uniqueness of it.

Re: Squarebody Avalanche
I don't know . . . pretty creative, and somebody was willing to put a lot of effort into what they thought was cool. It's no worse than the Honda Ridgeline!

Re: Squarebody Avalanche
So.... Maybe I shouldn't be admitting this but I built one of these in highschool... haha
Being in highschool i had ZERO money so I did it the way these guys did. I cut the back off and just tried sliding it up behind the rear seat... It worked, but not very well haha I learned what I should have done was bought a junk cab and use the back off that cab. I never considered the blazer idea... Say what you want but it was a fun project for me in highschool. I learned a LOT of metal skills... and knowning when I am in over my head. I also got marks for it in class so it was a win win I use the truck as a gopher hunting truck with my cousins now. So enjoy these pictures and realize that yes, there really are these ppl out there and i'm one of them haha
