The reason was so i could put the bbc where the sbc goes .also really just widen it for the ablity to take the valve covers off and more access to the back of the engine. was able to use headers for 67-72 bbc hooker. hope this helped.

truck looks awesome, got any pics of the bars behind the seats? i was thinking of putting 4 point harness in mine and think i need to add the bar so they can attach to it!!

wiper motor is on effected do to the 45deg. bend. as for the ductwork you might need to mod it a little. depending on what system your using.

here is the seat frame i made ,it bolts to the factory location and is setup for a five point harness.
