Re: Another 4X4 Front Sway Bar
This one has the cross member just like the other ones. It works with stock height suspension and will require shims between the cross member and the sway bar for lifted trucks. I have seen these shims installed on tuff country lift kits, but they are easy to make on your own. I will post pics of this one soon.
Thanks, Ray |

Re: Another 4X4 Front Sway Bar
Looks good to me. And quick question as far as the cross member it just bolts up to the stock holes? Or should I anticipate drilling or welding at all? Just wondering if you have done this personally. Send me your Paypal account and total with shipping to Roseville 95678 please
Thank you Evan Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Another 4X4 Front Sway Bar
Ray - thanks! You know what though - after the 14 month resto now I think I'm just going to drive the K20 a while before doing any more work to it so will pass. TTT for you. Pete

Re: Another 4X4 Front Sway Bar
Ray
What if you have the stock steering box frame reinforcement plate welded in the inside of the frame rail. Will this work or would additional mods be needed ? Thanks ! Gary

Re: Another 4X4 Front Sway Bar
There is about a 1/2" gap between the frame rail and the end of the crossmember. The bracket, however, bolts directly to the bottom of the frame rail. If your reinforcement is welded to the bottom flange of the frame rail then you would need to some mods.

Re: Another 4X4 Front Sway Bar
Hey Ray,
I bought the sway bar and spring plates from you a while back, if you remember? Never did get the crossmember itself from you. What would you charge me for just a crossmember itself for my 72 K20 shipped to 19525? Thanks Ray, 72longbed |
