Re: Part out long bed frame, any parts ?

yes, that's the panhard bar mount. i guess cut the frame as close as you can to the mount without cutting the mount and i'll take out the rivits later. maybe it will fit in a small flat rate box? thanks, jake

Re: Part out long bed frame, any parts ?

I know the title just says frame, but is there any chance you've got a body you're scrapping too? I'm having a hellufa time finding an inner roof skin.

No problem, I'll get it this weekend and should be able to ship early next week.

I have the replacement panel which is the front part of the inner roof where the sun visors are located, I was going to list it separately...is that what you are looking for?

Jake, I attached two pictures of the panhard mount cut out. There are several plates around it, do you want those also..so just cut as much of the frame out as possible, or I can just ship as is..? Also, in the close up pic it looks like the rivet in the middle of the picture went through the steel a bit, I don't know if that is factory or not...Everything looks fine, just pointing it out.

Thank you, that looks great I only need to the inside of the cross member, just in front of where that little bracket on the top is. Seriously helps me out so much in getting the project moving again. Let me know on shipping and best way to pay you can't wait.

Re: Part out long bed frame, any parts ?

i don't need the extra plates, but whatever is easier or cheaper to ship. one of the rivits is countersunk, i believe. the rivits go through two to three pieces of steel they're really tough to get out, i'll do the work on that. the mount looks fine to me. could you cut the access of the frame off to make it lighter and smaller to ship? like where the frame would turn up 90 degrees, which would be the side of the frame and crossmember, if you know what i mean?

Re: Part out long bed frame, any parts ?

Do you have the driver's side core support mount left? Mine's pretty tweaked but usable, but i'd rather have a straight one. Lemme know what you would want for it.

Thanks,
Al

I need both rear frame horns, about the last 6 inches. Post a pic if you don't mind, I would gladly take them! Thanks!

Re: Part out long bed frame, any parts ?

on the panhard bar bracket, you could put it in a usps medium flat rate box. it's $12.35. if that makes it any easier. i believe you can pay and print a label online and drop if off at a post office when ever you like. thanks, jake

Re: Part out long bed frame, any parts ?

Haha, I appreciate the patience....

My shop is kind of far, I've had trouble getting down there and focusing on them. I should be able to get down there this weekend and trim up the parts.

I'll reply again by Sunday.

Jon
