It was the code 42. And its the pig tail that comes off the ICM. I went to the junk yard today and got another one but havent put it on yet.

I know you changed a lot of parts. What distributor are you using? oem? Reason i ask is because gm sometimes encripts software for compatibility and can turn on check engine light or set soft fault codes. I know i keep going over the distributor voltage drop test but you have to know that it is basically 0 volts during the test before you start looking someware else. Original pcm and prom?

The distributor is a reman, Stock ecm and prom, swapped ecm with stock prom and same result. When I do a voltage drop it read -1.54 ml. Ive driven the truck for the past 2 days and it hasnt come on. I did add a ground from the ecm to body and no code since. I still have the miss on cold starts though.
