Was your truck stock to start or lowered a bit?

Thank you. Believe it or not, but the previous owner said it was the original grille. He took the grille off and had a shop bring it down to bare metal which is what you see now.

Thanks. The truck had 2" in lowering springs in the front and 4" lowering springs in the rear. Here's a pic of the previous stance

Re: Weekend Install Complete!!!

Wheel and tire specs?

is it a 4/6 drop + 1" blocks in the rear = 4/7 drop,
or is it a 4/5 drop + 1" blocks in the rear = 4/6 drop.

Thanx
Dano

Re: Weekend Install Complete!!!

I just installed the cpp notch with my bed off and it still gave me trouble, I can't imagine doing it with the bed on. Very nice truck you have there.

That is the way I want mine to look, could you provide the brand of the 2/4 springs you used?

Re: Weekend Install Complete!!!

I'm not sure I'd attempt a notch with the bed on.. regardless.

Just too critical IMO to get it 100% perfect in every possible way. If you drill it wrong ( never mind the cuts.. ) it can still give you troubles.

I still say you will want to take the bed off. I know .. I know people do it with the bed on. Just my opinion. To me it would be much easier to pull the bed off than to squeeze my big a55 into the fender wells.. unless you have access to a nice lift (?). Still it will be a large task to do it.

Big AL has the CPP notch in his and I think Shawn does too, both installed with the bed on. I'm just saying I'd be hesitant to do it. Just me..

CPP is the brand of the springs that were used.

I know what you mean Chad. My friend doing the job has been in the business for awhile and said he wouldn't have any problem with the bed on. All he wanted in return was a nice BBQ lunch...

4 inch drop in front or 4-1/2 ? 2" spindle and 2" spring or 2-1/2"spindle and 2" spring ? stance looks great by the way.

Re: Weekend Install Complete!!!

Looks great man! How do you like those rivets?

Have you considered one for the back too? It makes a difference, I promise. It really triangulates the rear end / trailing arm flex.

Re: Weekend Install Complete!!!

No rivets for me, it was a direct bolt on. As far as the back, I was reading some stuff on them this morning and am highly considering it.
