Re: Surprise!!

I really REALLY like that Fenderside! BTW,my comment was tongue & cheek. You took it like a man. I avoid running animals over when it's safe. and,I think the proportioning of your brakes needs attention. It's not "normal" for the front end to want to come around.

Re: Surprise!!

I surely wasn't lookin' to buy another truck. Owner was buying gas with a FOR SALE sign on the dash. 350/700R, after mkt. A/C, ps, pb, not perfect, but VERY nice shape. Looks like one original color repaint but the insides of the doors, door jambs and sills weren't repainted. I think I'm getting too old/lazy to enjoy major resto-projects. Tried to work a trade for a couple of vehicles I have but the owner decided he didn't need more projects. Has a '56 Nomad he's working on. Is it just me or is it much easier to BUY than SELL?

Re: Surprise!!

My dad used to say "just hit em" you got lucky. Here is a pic of what happened when I swerved to miss an animal. The animal lived but the street light died...

AIN'T MY new LIL 'GMC A CUTIE?... took it to a meeting in town last night and drove it home in a big rainstorm. Even drives good in the rain.

That's a good lookin truck Rusty! Are you going hang onto it? Not like I need another truck...just wondering.

BugzC10.. intend to keep and enjoy it but if somebody wants it BADLY enough.... I bought it from a guy up in Edgewater. You'll probably see it around town pretty soon. Seems to run & drive great.

Your little spin out was pretty good proof that the rear is grabbing before the front. Not good. I would go through the brake system before driving it any long distance. IMO
