Sounds like a bad booster. With all the crap coming from China these days bad new parts is real common.

Yup tried it and the pedal pumped up right, but when I started the truck it never moved. Now that should tell you the booster is not working but all the other booster tests show the booster to be holding pressure so I dont understand!

Ye I am completely in agreement with you. But I dont want to go drop 100 bucks for another booster and it not be the problem, but looks like that may be what I have to do!!

OK it doesn't work now, right. Try this for kicks but do not drive the truck while doing it. Take the master cylinder off of the booster. Don't disconnect the lines. With the engine off, press the pedal all the way to the floor SLOWLY and let it up quickly a few times. Put the cylinder back on and try the engine off/on test again. It may not do anything for the good but it may help open the atmosphere vents on the back side of the booster.

Yes.
Just push it like you are doing a regular stop. Not like a panic stop. If it's still hard to press the valve isn't letting atomospheric pressure in the back side. If it is easy the valve isn't letting vacuum into the front chamber.

Ok thanks Ill check it out. Sounds like either way that means the booster isnt working right from the answer I get am I understanding that right. And once again thank you for helping me
