Re: cleaning house

I could use the battery box and shift linkage parts. How much shipped to 98221
I could use a open carrier for a 12 bolt if you have one of those laying around too...

thank you

Actually I do not need the ring and pinion. Just the carrier w/ spider gears, shafts and any other little thing involved with it. I was going to upgrade the whole rearend with a posi, disc brakes, new bearings, seals and axles and have it blasted and than I looked how much it was and am just going to replace the broken parts for right now. haha. They sure don't give parts away these days

Re: cleaning house

It looks like the battery tray is in good shape just a lot of surface rust, right? I might be able to get away with just swapping the spider gears. I will look my 12 bolt over really good and let know you know tomorrow. Thanks again

no sir. yes on the surface rust but good size hole in the front passenger side corner. reason its only $5. thought you saw that. can try to get a better pic of it tomoro if you want. i figured somebody could lay a piece of sheet metal in the bottom and use for a driver. actually it would hold a battery just fine. mine does and its about the same. lol let me know on that. ill wait to hear from you on the 12 bolt also. and just so you know all shift linkage is there except bracket that is bolted on the trans. can see its missing in pics but just wanted to make sure you know. thanx, rich

Re: cleaning house

Ooo I do see the hole now.

I should have asked before. Is the the clutch linkage from a V8? It looked like it was... the 6 cylinder was quite a bit longer.

And I just need the spider gears with the spacers (if you have them but its no big deal if you don't) and than the linkage if it's from a V8.

ill look it over good today. i would guess driver shape. someone put that tinting on there but i just pulled most of it right off. the rest would come off pretty easy with a scraper. or something to loosen it up. fabric softener etc. latch works. i dont know for sure if this is oem or a replacement as truck has been gone for a long time.
