Re: 1966 GMC Suburban New Family Vehicle
The duramax continues. Still have to lower body but had to get a picture of it while making progress.

This is the final stance with body on the frame and the front suspension set.

Re: 1966 GMC Suburban New Family Vehicle
Thanks pimp. I just picked up all the parts from the powder coat shop. They made the beat up old chrome grill look like new. The shiny silver color I picked looks great.

Re: 1966 GMC Suburban New Family Vehicle
Lots of people say no to frame swap but it was the best decision I have made. If you find one that's 2wd and are not scared of a project, make the swap. I cant wait to enjoy classic looks of the 64 with all of the luxury of an 02. Still working on seat options but late model suburban seats seem to be the best options. My original seats are in good shape but not the most comfortable.

Re: 1966 GMC Suburban New Family Vehicle
90% of the project is done. Interior needs painted and carpet needs replaced. It runs great and turns heads. I hate to do it but I put it on ebay, business could use some money to grow so the toy needs to go.

Thats my goal. When you own/run a business you have to look at the bigger picture. Its a neat truck that hauls ass and turns heads but that does not pay bills or grow company. |
