O K, I see the 4 white "click" tabs, but how do I get the safety clip off of the bolt, I guess I need to remove the bolt....YES?

Look at the green plastic part. On each end will be a small tab that needs to be depressed and just the green part will come off. Then there is a little white tang that holds the pins in. Pull it back and pull the wire out from the back side.

O K,, that was easy, I transposed the pins to match the transmission, now try it out.

WINNER, WINNER, CHICKEN DINNER !!!!!!!

Well we have a fix for the JERKY WONKY problem!

Computer is working fine it now has 1-2-3-4 and Reverse.
Problem solved, and I learned a bunch, not that I wanted to, but never the less more knowledge on the LS and computers.

When they work they are great.

I want to thank you folks for sticking with me on this fix, now I can work on the cruise control, and the A/C re plumb, and stick a fork in this project!!

Awesome! Glad you got it figured out. That's the downside to aftermarket harnesses, sometimes they're pinned wrong. I've seen O2's pinned wrong and they're a SOB to figure out.

After looking at the video I found that I did not have to disassemble the whole connector, I did as you said remove the green cap and hold the plastic part up and pushed the pin out. fixed it !!

Drove up the gas station and put 8.4 miles and put in 14gal. so it was just about empty.
This is the first time in 16 years that the fuel gauge has worked and the speedometer has not!!
New tank and sender, new engine and old speedo. I have Torque Pro to monitor lots of things and a big Galaxy 7" with three different sizes of digital or graph or analog gauges on one page.
I have not tried out the traction control yet !!!!

x2!....my harness was pinned wrong too...easy fix once I knew where to look.
