It was a good run while it lasted, I hope somebody here capitalized on the cash savings.

Re: Jegs is at it again

Still on Ebay. One heck of a deal. Would love to pull the trigger on this one, but too much spent on suspension. I'll just wait until my old 307 dies.

It's like it goes back and forth, I tried the original link earlier and got the higher price. Worth a shot for those ready to commit!

Re: Jegs is at it again

I bought one on Saturday, going to use it to replace the tired 307 in my 67 SWB. I missed out the last time they had them discounted.

Re: Jegs is at it again

As long as I can pass NJ inspection, I'll motor around with what I have.....but...it would sure be sweet to have something new. I only hope the deal is as good when the time comes!

Glad to see a few of you got the deal, surprised that the likes of Summit or who have you didn't run a similar deal-Jegs selling about 350 of 'em.

Re: Jegs is at it again

This is a great deal... I build that spec engine with my high school kids and even with school prices and donations, we barely beat that dollar figure in the ones we raffle off, and we cant offer a warranty with it... If you want to rebuild one your self and your looking to build some thing tame and reliable as this... your doing the building for fun and experience because you CANNOT beat this kind of price for what you get.... just an auto teachers opinion for what its worth....

ACCORDING TO JEG'S: This is strictly an E-Bay deal. Check back early Wed. afternoon. If the price goes back down, I'm getting one, just to have.

Mine was delivered today!

They deliver in a semi with a tommy lift. He couldn't get his truck to my shop so we loaded it onto the trailer. Those ordering might keep this in mind.

Re: Jegs is at it again

Can this engine be used in my 93 Chevy with 350 and TBI? HP/TQ numbers are better and cost much less than engine Jegs says is for a 93.
