I don't know if this is a deal breaker but, the exhaust manifold bolts are long gone. Sorry Mike. |

Not a deal breaker, thanks for the heads up. I hope you can get them shipped for $80 and that works for you. Just wanting a backup pair.

How do most members ship this stuff? The box weighs 27 lbs. UPS Ground is $35.00. USPS Standard is $43.00. Does that sound right? |

Re: 1972 GMC 4x4
I think some of the real parting out guys have discounted company shipping accounts. When I have to ship a heavier item I do a compare at PackBuddy.com. Looks like FedEx ground is about $18......and I'm not surprised as I have often seen better rates with heavier items through FedEx ground.

Just got the frame in the shop to take some parts off of it. Found 10 of the exhaust manifold bolts. |

There are only three heat shields on this engine. Shouldn't there be four? |

Re: 1972 GMC 4x4
No, that's not it. The below pics should help. The threading should be 7/16 x14. It may or may not have the 0-ring section.

Sending some pictures of the coolant pipe. There is one hole in it and you will see it in the picture. I am also sending pictures of the power steering system. To make sure this is what you are looking for. Mike |

Hear are some pictures of the pitman arm. The splines look great. The drag link end the hole does not seem to be perfectly round. Let me know what you think. Thanks Mike |

Re: 1972 GMC 4x4
Great work on the pics. That's not exactly what I was looking for, but I'll take the T fitting. You can just snip the lines, leave 3 inches or so. This plus the exhaust manifolds at $95 shipped, right?
Thanks Jim |
