Re: 66 bagged CREW CAB CHOPPED TOP shortened bed
To weld the rear corners of the can I had to squeez and stretch so relief cut from my grinder took care of that.

Re: 66 bagged CREW CAB CHOPPED TOP shortened bed
I didn't take any pictures of changing the front frame to the subframe of a camero. Should have but. Oh well. But yea I changed it out to the camero front clip and rear differential. The rear is a disc brake limited slip 3:73. I also used the 305 HO and the 700r4 from the camero. Not looking for huge power. Just enough to get it down the road. The interior is still cut up. Still have a lot to do.

Re: 66 bagged CREW CAB CHOPPED TOP shortened bed
Radiator, front sub frame "clip" disc brake rear end, motor tranny steering colom, brake pedal n booster. The clip was out of an older camaro but everything else is 1984. I still have a lot to do but no time to do it.

Re: 66 bagged CREW CAB CHOPPED TOP shortened bed
I'm getting motivated again. Today I ordered rocker panels and fender patches. I just found a YouTube video on how to cut the windshield. Gotta try it. It's been a while since I could work on it since the holidays and buying a new house. But I drove the chop top to the house for its first drive and I want it done!!!

FYI you do not need to light alcohol, just let it eat laminate. Did not watch video.
