The electric systems aren't complex or difficult.
The problem is clueless prior owners "Fixing" them. Mine was a mess when I bought the truck. Why it was necessary to cut the dash to firewall harness to shreds is beyond me...

Heck, I'm not even a 4x4 guy and I love those flares! Nice score!
Biggest problem I've ever head with any electric valve is non-use. Too many people consider one tank "primary" and one "back-up" or "reserve". Those valves get gummed up just like any other piece in the fuel system that sits without being used.

The flares are really nice and I love that they are fiberglass. Easy to repair if something happens to them.
