I can't do it. Just not possible.

If its loose, either bolt it, weld it, rivet it, or glue it down. If it's ripped sew it up. If it's cracked, stop the crack and patch it. I just can't put the OCD aside enough to use duct tape. Never have.

What are your thoughts on bailing wire?

Re: $12 Saddle Blanket Bench Seat Covers at Overstock.com

I've never used bailing wire either. My hay bales come wrapped in nylon twine. I use fencing wire to secure the barbed wire to the fence posts. That's all there is in my little world.

No one should be afflicted with OCD like I am. It makes life way more difficult.

I just ordered one too for the same reason, I'm not a big fan of temporary fixes, but for $15 to your door it's hard to argue.

I just got my tracking number email. This is my first order from Overstock.com and so far it seems like they do business quickly.

Thanks for the heads up! That's why I love this forum. Everyone is wiling to share and help.
I figure for 15 bucks you can't go wrong. I wasted that much on a bad lunch before...

Re: $12 Saddle Blanket Bench Seat Covers at Overstock.com

Wow, I ordered mine yesterday and got them today. Not bad for $15.

Quality seems alright for 15. The weave is not very tight...probably wont last too long. Hopefully I can mount in the next couple of days. I'm gonna try yo hog ring it or zip tie tor a tighter more permanent mount. But, there's no guarantee it wont pull through the weave....

The seat back has only a partial backing so you'll probably have to leave the original cover on...especially tor crew front seats.

the ad says they are 52" wide. My seat measures 58". has any body checked to see if they are wide enough?

Re: $12 Saddle Blanket Bench Seat Covers at Overstock.com

You know, overstock dot com is a Utah company, based in the Salt Lake Valley. I suppose I could save the shipping cost by going and knocking on their door, but I would then have to pay sales tax

The just announced on the news the other day plans to build a new building. Looks pretty cool, I can't wait to see it from the air!

That would be funny. Dozens of us wind up ordering seat covers meant for Ford Rangers and Toyotas. I can just see the guys at Overstock.com talking around the water cooler on their break. "Damn, we had all those seat covers forever and never sold them, now they're all gone within one week. I wonder what happened".

It would be time to sell all the covers to K5 and burb owners for the second and third rows...

Re: $12 Saddle Blanket Bench Seat Covers at Overstock.com

Actually, they seem to fit okay.

It takes a little massaging but its not like they wont work....at least on my V30 crewcab seats.

Re: $12 Saddle Blanket Bench Seat Covers at Overstock.com

Partial installation - I haven't stretched it and secured it on the back yet, but I'm impressed with the color match for my fawn interior!

My seat didn't really need it, but I figured for $15 it was worth it just to avoid hot vinyl this summer and protect the original seat! Kudos to Boyd for posting the link!
