Re: Is there really NO ONE with a 400 valve cover sticker?
Thanks Andy. I'd guess those are a crate motor or at least a replacement motor.
I believe Bryan has found it! Thanks so much for the photos! Between those 427 ones and my original 400 photos, I should be able to do it. They appear to be the exact same style so far as I can tell. Do you recall if the numbers or letters were embossed (raised) at all?

Your welcome man! I knew they weren't exactly what you wanted but figured they would help. The add doesn't say if it was a crate engine are not.
I'll keep my eyes open for you though!

Re: Is there really NO ONE with a 400 valve cover sticker?
Thanks again for all of the GREAT photos. I've saved them off and am about to start tinkering with it.
On the 1970 GMC 133WB mine was on the front driver's side, with the oil fill. The brochure above shows them on the passenger side. I thought for a while someone swapped the valve covers at some point in its life, but they're not interchangeable are they? One has the breather and one has the oil fill.

If you think that's bad, you should see what my 2500psi pressure washer did to mine!
