I agree for the most part but I love me some LS motor in my 71 though!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Good thing they don't build 'em like they used to

Ever been in a demolition derby?
Here is my 86 lincoln town car before

After

Keep in mind the max speed you are moving when you hit somebody ( in the stock class) is under 10 mph. The back end of that car was actualy a hell of a lot stronger than the front. It only took one hit in the front from someone at at most 5 mph and it pushed the front end 6 inches in. After just one heat you are really feeling it. I have an inside car camera video from another one I will look for where you can see the impact you take.

Here is the inside the car video. You can really see the impact you take in this video. The car was an 86 Cadillac fleetwood broughm. It caught on fire as you can see in the video. Skip to the 5 minute mark for the start.
