Re: Cpp brake line kit blues!
Update for you FnL. I got everything installed. my hard lines are all bent so I could thread in the fittings at the ends. It no longer fits inside the little clips on the cross member but at this point I either return them and get a differnt set of lines or I live with it. Ill live since im short on time. Hoping you have better luck lining up the lines with the clips.

Yes just get with inline there good people & tell them the system your running but I think you just need a OE front to rear line,OE rear line kit (On the diff) & front convertion line kit.
Also I would do my hoses while your there & inline has those also. Good luck |

catch2otwo
Convertion lines aren't perfect but they serve the purpose I think on mine I only got two line clips to work on the crossmember but with the ends cunected it held tight. If your not at ease with it get new clips & drill your own in as needed? Also make sure you're not touching on the headers at any point that wouldn't be good. |

Re: Cpp brake line kit blues!
Glad to hear that your set. And if you flush your fluid as needed those lines will out live you especially if you went with the stainless.

Re: Cpp brake line kit blues!
not much to reference. Pretty much had to bent the ends to make them shorter and also so they would end up near where the rubber hose sits in the upper spring pocket.

Re: Cpp brake line kit blues!
Great comments. I just converted my '70 Chevy C10 shortbed/stepside big block from front drums to front power discs using CPP's conversion kit (6370SWBK-6D), it all fit nicely. I converted to CPP's tubular lower and upper control arms as well which required a new sway bar with endlinks (my old sway bar did not have end links).
I'm also converting drum/drum to front disc/rear drum using to Summit/s master cylinder (SUM-760197) and CPP's proportioning valve (CLP-PVKS-2). The proportioning valve does not connect to my drum/drum brake lines I just found out so I ordered CPP's 6770FLK-OM Disc Brake Conversion Line Kit (for front brakes only). I hope it all fits based on comments above. More to follow! |

Re: Cpp brake line kit blues!
I would like to put in a recommendation for the tubes made out of that copper and nickel alloy. The ones I bought for another car were called Cupronal, and were very easy to work with. I was told they were corrosion resistant, and could withstand fairly high pressure.
Can't vouch for all that, because I sold the car...
