Damn, that's a serious honey of a truck. I love it.

I'd leave the 350 in there personally, but a 5.3 will be pretty sweet, and it's your truck.

Please post more photos as you get the swap going. Love to see how it all comes together. Great looking ride!

Dude your truck is rad! Love it. This is pretty close to what I wanted to build out of my 84. I've got a question for you though. What is the PN on that shifter? Doesn't look like the typical 55-57 chevy shifter everyone suggests but it seems to clear the bench seat well. Love the wheels and pipes too. I've been after a set of those wheels for 2 years now. Been looking at side pipes for the same. Your truck is awesome inspiration!

Re: "Woodson" - New to me 1977 Silverado C10

Took a trip over to Texas Square Bodies which is an all squarebody salvage yard just outside of Dallas and scored a few pieces I needed for Woodson.

Automatic shift tilt steering column, steering linkage, and brake pedal assembly.

Best of all scored this nice lil gem, OEM dash pad in awesome condition. The guy told me he forgot he had it and it had been sitting in the same exact spot for 15 years. Took it home cleaned off 15 years of dirt and I think it cleaned up darn good! Great score for $150

The motor and trans are already spoken for when I do the LS swap. The steering column and linkage will be available since I switching to an automatic shift column.

The wheels were on the truck when I bought it, Robert bought them when he was building the truck.

took a lot of time and patience to finally find authentic 1977 plates that begins with LS and still had the 77 registration sticker.
