Re: WTB: 16 x 5. 6 Lug Factory Steel Wheels

Jeff,
Good deal, I am glad you found them. Your post got me thinking about the ones I want to do. I bought some 16 x 7 Ford Van wheels to have for one of my other trucks. I thought I would try one of my centers sitting on the backside. I think I may have to remove one of the Ford centers and give it a try. The Ford wheels cost me $ 9.00 apiece a little cheaper than the hoops I was looking at.

Kevin,
It is revered at the moment. I just set the center in to see if it was close. I would like have 8" wide wheels, but this may be the way to go.

I am going to have to knock one of these Ford wheels apart. The hoop may be just a little big. I will let you know what happens.

Re: WTB: 16 x 5. 6 Lug Factory Steel Wheels

So, I took the center out of one of the Ford wheels. The six lug center fits pretty well. I think I will build it up a few thousandths though. I can push it thru by hand and I think it should be more of a press fit.

Kevin,
When I took the picture the offset was 4 1/2". I think will make them 4"
