Re: 1969 C-10 CST Build
You will need to relocate your rear shocks but your front shocks will be fine.
I would buy a deluxe bent trac bar from CPP because the longer the trac bar the less the rear axle moves from side to side when the suspension travels and also you can put a cool looking finned aluminum rear differential cover on. |

Re: 1969 C-10 CST Build
UPDATE: So i have been sand blasting and sand blasting and more sand blasting. Did you know that sand dust and your neighbors pool do not get along!!! I was asked to move my blasting area, so i moved to the side of the shop to be nice and it actually is better. All the suspension parts are apart and sand blasted. I tore the rearend apart and installed new pinion seal and axle seals. I also know now that i have 308 gears, not posi which is fine with me. The frame is yet to be blasted yet, but i will paint my parts first, then blast the frame. pics to come. finally seeing progress

Re: 1969 C-10 CST Build
Your doing some excellent work. The cab floor looks great with the bedliner.

Re: 1969 C-10 CST Build
SDuckworth13 - Thanks. Watch as others have used bed liner on the bottom of the cab and figured that is a good idea, so I did. I will also use it on the inside of the wheel wells.

Re: 1969 C-10 CST Build
Update: so i got a lot of of the sand blasting now primed and some of it painted with Rustoleum semi-gloss black, with a HF paint gun. Process is long and i am kinda anal about doing it right the first time, but its getting exciting to see the hard work start to come together.

Frame looks great! I'm hoping to get mine at this point sometime soon, within the year.
