Re: Title question

Springdale is close enough. Is it in reddish brown primer? I just remember seeing one on CL a few months back. You need to post up some pictures.

Or back up to post 15 for the manual

Re: Title question

I read through the manual and to me it looks like you would fall under the last section and you would have to title it as an S-10 and you would need the title for the S-10 which it seems you would need under most of the examples that were in the manual, it took me no time on the bonded title and if I'm not mistaken the form needed for most of the senerios in the manual is from the theft inspection don't get me wrong I lost sleep over this situation because I already had some money tide up in the truck and the bonded tile worked for me it only last a year and you can sell the truck with a bonded title and my year is almost up

Good memory Sim6, yes its the red primer one. They started putting the box on, but I'm going to rebuild it. The cab / front clip are not mounted.

Re: Title question

I'll start a new thread when I start working on it, and show the progress, etc. My first step is to take it apart and get it media blasted, then start the repair work on it.

Re: Title question

Does the S10 frame have a VIN Tag on it. If so first and formost is to run its number through VIN check. If it comes back clean then go through the bonding process. If it is not clean report it immediately to your local sheriff.

Is there a website for VIN check? Or do I call the locals and have them run it?

I never buy a vehicle with out running through this site.
Learned hard way after buying a trailer in Texas only to have it impounded and lost to the county sheriff in Arizona.

Thanks, I'll look to see where the VIN is on the frame and get over to storage and look at it. Luckily I have another S10 in the driveway that I bought for the frame and have been trying to sell it. If the other frame has issues, I'll just use the one in the driveway.
