Re: OEM disappering!!

They were the original supplier of a lot of electrically operated dual purpose valves-they supplied GM, Ford and others with the dual tank splitting valves. They may be getting obsolete through GM (I don't know if in fact they so make the "knock-off GM" aftermarket valves) but they would be just as good as buying NOS GM. Possibly cheaper too-I remember when ROH wheels out of Canada made the first several sets of prototype wheels for the upcoming 1994 Impala SS at GM's specs, then GM opted to outsource them for cheaper from another wheel company. ROH came out with their "Snyper" series wheels which were essentially the same GM wheel without an Impala logo on the center cap and no GM part number. So it was considered a knock-off GM wheel of sorts lol. GM at the time was about $550 per wheel and a set of 4 Snyper wheels were $550/set delivered to my door from Canada!

So in summary, Pollak valves are every bit as reliable as a genuine GM USA made part.
