Re: 1972 Cheyenne Super Big Block C30 Dually - Beaver RV/motor home
Thanks guys! I'm having fun with it. It's one big white Beaver. Here's some pics of the steering wheel. The wheel cover earned it's keep.

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Super Big Block C30 Dually - Beaver RV/motor home
Jim thank you. I want to hold onto it for the time being and see how much use I get out of it in 2016. Would make a great parts donor but loathe to dismantle it as it's so solid.

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Super Big Block C30 Dually - Beaver RV/motor home
please don't do anything to it but enjoy it, I would love to have it, love that it has a big block, I have a 454 in my '74 K20 and my '73 K20 suburban,I installed these , they originally had 350's, big blocks are great engines, yours may be the 402 or a 454, either one is an excellent engine with alot of power, I am looking for one like yours with a big block, and as clean as yours. If you don't mind me asking, how much was it? some members have posted a couple that are on craigslist, they have 350 engines and are not as clean as yours, they want $7500.00 for them, Jim

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Super Big Block C30 Dually - Beaver RV/motor home
I'm in the market to buy one in the next 3-5 years.I miss the old camping ways. That thing i would add a few things One would be a Gear Vender you have the th400 instead of 3 speed you wind up with a 6 speed it would pull less stress off the motor and the trans.I'm a big be leaver in good tires Only one tire I've used that can get 250,000 miles and there made in France 235/85/16 Michelin rib tires they ride like a Cadillac. 4 piston caliber's other then that I play it by ear

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Super Big Block C30 Dually - Beaver RV/motor home
Thanks guys! I'm no longer the keeper of this Beaver. I sold it locally to a good friend who will take good care of it and get more use from it with his family than I will. Selling it freed up space for a new project: 1972 Highlander Blazer restoration.

Re: 1972 Cheyenne Super Big Block C30 Dually - Beaver RV/motor home
Thanks! I'll start a dedicated build thread soon. In the meanwhile, check it out here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...&postcount=129 It came with well documented owner history and the protectoplate. Original motor. Some rust not too bad. Doors in good shape. Planning on a rebuild back to stock maybe with a single wall top and tilt/tach as adds.
