Re: Meet Frankie...'72 C30 Camper
Just curious, what does one of these go for? If I could find one that didn't need completely restored, I would buy it. In my area of the country that is asking for a miracle.

Re: Meet Frankie...'72 C30 Camper
I had no idea. On mine when I got it home I put more air in it and it bowed up the wood under the bed above the cab so I took the air back out. I figured it was to keep the camper stable to keep from sagging.

Re: Meet Frankie...'72 C30 Camper
The more common way bounce was reduced was with units like the extended shock absorber things seen in the picture below of my truck and slide-in camper when almost new. Mine were/are brand named Bounce Aways. Something very similar to these is still sold by Lance Campers.

Re: Meet Frankie...'72 C30 Camper
Executive decision has been made by the upper realm of my household that the camper will be kept and used this summer. So as soon as I have a little time I will start a build(travel) thread.

Man, this is such a nice truck! Great score. The camper looks to be in excellent shape too!

Re: Meet Frankie...'72 C30 Camper
I was not trying to be insulting. The upper realm in my household would say "Hell no!" anyway,

Re: Meet Frankie...'72 C30 Camper
Wow , very nice. I have a dodge version , use it to pull the race car , have been looking for one of these to replace it but they are all junk or on the west coast....you're not that far away , if it wants to leave, get in touch , that would make a perfect hauler!!

Re: Meet Frankie...'72 C30 Camper
We have just decided that we are going to put it up for sale. We had hoped that we would be able to use it this summer and fall, but our schedules are just way too busy.
"What's it worth?" - The million dollar question I am going to put it up for $10,000 or best offer. And I would be open to trades with a '68-'72 swb fleet side truck. Thanks!

Re: Meet Frankie...'72 C30 Camper
Man that sucks, that sounds like it is a good deal on it to me though. If I had 10 g's to spend on it I would, I am sure it won't take long to move it.

Re: Meet Frankie...'72 C30 Camper
Super nice. I'd say 10 grand is probably a good starting point too ask. I'm sure the mileage is original.

Re: Meet Frankie...'72 C30 Camper
Nice score! Does the camper roof leak, do the systems work? If it's a yes on both those clean it up real good and I'd agree with a 10k starting price.

Re: Meet Frankie...'72 C30 Camper
***Update on Frankie***
I sold Frankie in early April. He said he was taking it to SEMA this year. I thought "ya, it will make it there, will use a ton of fuel though!" Well Frankie is there and center stage from what I am hearing... Before And now
