Yes that rail was added for the flat bed they had on it. I need to grind those off.

Yes this truck was ordered new with no bed and those rails were added for a flatbed they put on it. I need to grind those welds off to install a bed.

With much help from research on this site, I'm realizing I don't have the time or resources to put into this truck to bring it back to facotry condition, and have had someone inquire about purchase. Want to present him a fair number, so I'd appreciate any thoughts on value "as is". Again it is running (roughly), tranny and 4 wheel drive work and brakes work. Had posted some pics earlier which haven't changed if that helps. If there are any other questions that would help with your thoughts please ask. Thanks

considering these trucks are not worth much fully restored in comparison to other vehicles you could put time and money into. You have to find the right buyer. i would say anything over 2.5k would be pretty impressive. i paid 2000 for my 60 gmc with a low mile 350, the original price was 1600 but the seller got cold feet after i fell in love.
