sub'd, wish I had some advice to give you but seems like you have tried everything I can think of already.....electrical issues can drive you crazy, but don't give up, you will figure it out...

Don't lose faith. I know it's very frustrating when you can't find the problem. You will though!! You are doing the right things and are asking the right questions. You'll find it and then you'll be an expert!!!! When your biggest hammer looks like the answer ,just walk away and start over another day!!!!

Sorry for the late reply. I decided to let it sit for a week as it was driving me nuts. I installed some really good ground straps to frame and body and WHAMO!!! She Starts!!! Runs absolutely beautiful now. Many thanks for all the advise. I am definitely now an expert at finding and setting TDC and installing distributors. Would have never thought that block grounding would be an issue but it goes to show you how important good grounding is.
