This Camper was OKed From General Motors, and if you wanted a camper on the blazer ,the dealership would take your vehicle to Ronco Camper Company in Osseo, Minnesota and build the camper on the blazer. It was not meant to be taken off. You could get a door on the back or use your tailgate and have a fold up window ,like a topper. The Blazer I have has 63000 miles on it and is in very good condition considering is is a wisconsin vehicle. I will send pics soon. The 1977 Blazer Chalet was built right at the factory. The 1972 Model was taken from the dealerships to Minnesota, Including the Canadian built Blazers.

Are you having any extra decals made? I just bought the one at the start of this thread and looks to be a ronco camper.

The K/5 was built on July 8, 1972 and was delivered to Griesbach Chevrolet on Sept 9, 1972. The total package cost with the camper
was $ 5500.00 with tax. I have the protecto-plate

Here is my 1972 Chevrolet K/5 Blazer, with the camper. It was built at The Ronco Camper Company in Osseo, Minnesota.
