Unfortunately, they split out of town. One went to San Antonio, one went to L.A. one went to Seattle, and the other one I think overdosed on heroin. Good for him! Im not bitter though....like hell Im not.

Fender Jazz Bass
Yamaha Classical Takamine Acoustic I WANT A STRATOCASTER! (But I want to finish my truck more!) I had a fleeting thought about painting my truck the same color as my bass, but while I like purple on the bass, I think I'll stick with a bluec10.

guitarornothin, you're dad sounds alot like mine, he has helped me do lots of stuff. Like I am sure most fathers have.... I didnt wanna sound cocky like I am only 17 and have quite a few thigns i just meant that i am 17 and the drums are how a 17 would play them "to the bone" They are older drums and show their age, and me playing them how I do doesnt help... hehe....Thats all I meant. Thats awesome that you have accomplished as much as u have at ur age... My hats off to you. I wish I would have done as much as you have when I was ur age... To be honest I did do lots of stuff at that age, I did my motor to my truck, my dads 427 and did lots of work to the body, but it has taken a few years to get it to the point it is today, which is STILL NOT DONE. I respect anyone that works on their truck whether it be changing oil or complete resto... I am sorry if it sounded like I was selling my age as a "better than you" attitude, it wasnt what I meant..

Played a Fender Jaguar back in high school a zillion years ago. This was before Leo Fender sold out to CBS. Chevy Wrench - what would that be worth now?
Believe that Leo came out with another brand after the sale called Music Man. Fender also had a model called "Wildwood" (acoustic) that used wood that had come from trees that had the dye injected into the living tree. Pretty instruments. More trivia - The Japanese are into collecting Fender guitars, but they want every model produced for a certain year, and they all would have the same finish. They put them under spotlights in display cases. Trailer Queen guitars? |

Hey ABHaulR, I live basicaly @ 56th west and 54th south. I havent heard of Two Stroke. But Ive only been here for 2 years or so, and I dont get out much.
Dads72- A pre CBS Jaguar, the very same guitar that I had when I was 13. Worked a year of weekends to get one. Thats when they were cheap! Wish I still had that one If it were in mint condition, it would be worth about $2000, give or take a few hundred. It all boils down to if someone is willing to pay that much for it. I sold a 1963 Airline about 5 years ago. I paid 30 bucks for it, he paid $600. It was worth alot more to the buyer, than it was to the seller.

I still have a '64 Pre CBS Strat, a Guild S-100, and a Martin D-35 sunburst. I only have 1 amp left, a 1965 Fender Vibrolux. I had a Ampeg V4 Stack, but I let my cousin have it years ago for next to nothing. I haven't played in years.

I've got a box guitar made by my grandfather back before 1976 sometime. Still looks and plays beautiful. Wish I could play it. Trying to learn now. He useta repair and make guitars for the old time country players. Homer and Jethro, Flatt and Skruggs, The Osborne Bros. and many others. Wish I could've/would've learned to play before Granddad passed away. Woulda been cool to play together. If ya'll run across a box guitar made by Maywood Oliver, let me know, I'll buy it.
