Not baggin on scooters, as stated in the very first post, glad to see folks out in them that may be injured and still want to come out and see the trucks. That's nothing new. What IS new is the number of teenagers or (apparently) healthy 30 year olds - that clearly have no injuries or any reason whatsoever to be on them than to goof around and run over my toe (i.e. I've seen them sprint from the scooter to the beer tent with no problems..). I also noticed a new trend, if one dude in a family of 10 needs one - they rented 10 and caravanned around together. Ha. That's actually kinda cool - a little family togetherness/solidarity, can't knock that. At Pate, I saw one kid - had to be about 6-8 yrs old, and he had that thing floored and was leanin on turns, dreaming he was on the high bank at Talladega I'm sure, which is all cool - but it was just way to crowded at Pate for the goofballing and sheer quantity of scooters. So, no, not baggin on scooters at all, have had several foot surgeries myself and I can feel your pain - I'm sure the time will come when I need one, I feel lucky to not need one now. So KEEP going to shows with the cool trike, please don't misinterpret - was only commenting on what seems to be a new "thing" at car shows lately and that is many, many more people renting the things and horsin around, that's all.

No problem Jocko...I shoulda used the winking eye or something on my post anyway since I do understand the problem. I missed Pate, but even at the Decatur swap meet the sheer quantity of golf carts makes is almost impossible to enjoy checking things out.

The blue k10 ithat you said was pretty popular is a guy from my hometown. The truck hasn’t been completed long. It’s a very nice truck. The same guy that did it is doing a c10 for me as we speak

Lots of great iron out there today and lots of nice people. I like the blue collar guys that have tons of passion and not so much money.

A buddy and I walked for nearly 7 hours at Pate last Saturday. There were a large number transportation devices in use, most of them looked just like yours and many had the wagon hitched. No baggin' here.

FWIW, I went to Pate also, and walked for 5 hours - and kinda thought it was a bust too
Remember the good old days in Cresson
It seemed that it always rained and was lots of mud
But they did seperate the chevys from the fords etc.

Re: C10 Nats pics - Fort Worth

I couldn't make it this weekend to the C10 nationals but I did make it out to Pate last Thursday, Friday and Sat. I didn't think it was a bust at all.Tons to see and I came away with some good deals, even on Sat. Now Decatur this year was a total bust. But yea there were tons of people of all ages riding scooters. At $80 a rental, that scooter rental company made serious coin.

Re: C10 Nats pics - Fort Worth

I was there on Sat afternoon as well. Lots of variety in the show for sure. Saw several Goodguys repeats but nothig wrong with that. The end of the show, banner extravaganza, was entertaining as well. You could definitely tell who was lingering and lurking throughout the fencelines in order to get their choice of banners.

Some personal favs:

Thank you for that RD rancher... Somehow I missed that one at the show. I feel like I just got my moneys worth all over again! What an amazing build.

You're welcome! The truck was at the southside entrance to the vendors area. We were all done and heading out when the hood hinges on the truck caught my eye. Yep, the hood hinges...

I JUST found the 2019 show - too late for me to plan to go! Does LMC host a show here every year ( so I can get there in 2020)? How long have they been doing this?
Thanx

2018 was the first one. I couldn't make it last year, but I'm registered for it this year!
