Jewels, Congrats on getting your ride going again. I know what a sick feeling there is when your favorite (or only) ride takes a dump on you, (boy do I know ).

I was concerned for the truck because like you, I was born and raised deep in the country. It was culture shock for me coming to a big city. I used to trust everybody, always giving the benifit of the doubt. But now I trust no one, I hide and lock everything I own up, and wake up at the slightest noise. This city living is definately unhealthy

Good luck with your carb rebuild, and keep on truckin.
