I'd like one of these if you've still have them.

Re: New OEM Glove Box Lock (keyed to your existing locks)

Thank you LocDoc for having these and being able to key to my truck! It appears one of my keys are original to the truck as the 1st and last numbers can be seen by being on a key chain all these years it has worn the middle two away!! So I had to get my code from my ignition lock cylinder. Which the last two were wore and nearly non-readable!

YouTube video how to get the ignition lock cylinder: Tech Tip - 1967-1972 Chevy C10 Ignition Switch Removal

If you happen to have Allen wrench, size 0.050 fits perfectly in the little hole :-)

No problem.

The guy in the video is having a problem because he is not removing the paper clip from the hole after he gets the cylinder turned to the left a little bit, and the clip is binding in the hole. You have to remove the poke tool after the cylinder starts turning.

Re: New OEM Glove Box Lock (keyed to your existing locks)

I didn't have near his trouble once I switched to my long little Allen wrench! It was a snap to get out. At the very least I learn how to take out the ignition lock cylinder, so I learned something new and useful today. I also took the time to clean it up and gave it some lock graphite lube :-)

LockDoc, if you have any, I would like a locking keyed to my ignition. I can send measurements (the key, not mine : ))

Re: New OEM Glove Box Lock (keyed to your existing locks)

LockDoc,

I'm in need of a OEM Glove Box Lock, if you have one let me know the price and your ship to address and I'll get you paid (PayPal). Then I'll send you the key I want the glove box lock keyed to.

Thanks,

Hi Leon, I'd like one of these OEM glovebox locks if you still have one. I have a set of door locks and an ignition cylinder that I got from you. I can send you pic of the code so that the glovebox lock can be keyed to match. Just let me know.

Thanks

Need quote for two door locks keyed to the ignition key. Also need the cams and retainers if you have them.
