Current spare wheel cover to match. Sitting low due to L6 in bed. It has not been lowered to my knowledge.

How are the doors, fenders, firewall under the hood, and the roof, any rust? I'm interested but you 900 miles away and I don't see me getting a chance until after New Years to come out? What about the cab supports and underneath of the cab? The more pictures you can post the better. By the way, how did you get a 77 engine with 1100 miles on it ? What about inside on the top of the windsheild any rust? I'm from Pa, we get rust everywhere! THANKS IN ADVANCE

71Hugger396,

The only rust is in the pics. Cab corners, floors support, one bedside, oh yeah, and both inner front fenders have silver dollar size holes in the fronts of them. Other than that, the exterior fenders, cowl, firewall, cab floor and ceiling, above windshield, doors are all RUST FREE. Look back through this post for pics of all rust. A guy I know found a '77 Nova near St. Louis with 900 miles on it. Some little old man bought it new, drove it for a while and then parked it in his garage. This guy bought it, Nova is pristine btw, drove it 200 miles and then swapped the L6 for a 330hp crate motor, posi gears and a beefed up tranny...otherwise is it stock and looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor, quite a sleeper. I heard the L6 run, just purrs and is quiet. No smoke or spots. 1100 true miles, has HEI, AC and PS brackets, flex plate for auto too. After the first of the year is fine if I know you are purchasing. But honestly, the first one with cash will take it home, I hope you understand.

Alltracspyder,

The odometer shows 149K miles, I presume them to be accurate as this original truck is really pretty clean for the midwest. All rust and interior photos are in this thread. I will send you a winzip file with them also.

Thanks and Merry Christmas!

The rear supports on both sides. I was going to grind them off and replace one side at a time.

priorities

72shorty,

I understand your position and support it 100%. I had to let go of a beautiful 1955 F100 for the sake of my kids (3 and 7) last year. Just needed to put that money where it belonged, into their lives...funny thing though...they were BOTH sad when I sold it. We had fun driving it to car shows.

This year is a whole different story and now I have this truck! I've always believd that if you can let something go for the right reason(s), you will probably end up rewarded in the future with something even better.

Here's to taking care of business!

Thanks JT. I appreciate the support. It's hard at times to set aside my own selfish wants for the betterment of my family. But I know it's the right thing to do for our situation at this moment in time.

Have a Merry Christmas!

See original post at the beginning of this thread, it has been updated with fewer parts and only asking $3300 now. Come and get it. Am getting laid off and need the money. Price is firm, come one, come all!

THANKS!
