Re: Patina56 build aka the never ending story
A little progress update; got front frame horns done just need to fab up some radiator supports and adjust the bumper and that part is done! Finally!!
Bolted up the rear brakes (still need plumbed) was good to empty some parts boxes that have been in my way for too long. Gas tank is in, will get pictures soon. Raised bed floor in progress. Pulled engine for a clean up, new top end and paint job. While it’s out of the way I’ll get the steering finished and get firewall panels welded in. Phew lots done but soo much left to do! Oh and will be relocating the cab back an inch, dragged it outside and I feel the front wheel still sits a little too far back in the wheel well |

Re: Patina56 build aka the never ending story
Weekend project; turn this pile of junk into something cool.
Old c67 6x2 manifold with 6 Holley 94s. Manifold has a small crack that I’m going to attempt to tig weld, then polish the manifold and rebuild all the carbs Should be a breeze right |

Re: Patina56 build aka the never ending story
Well weekend plans changes as they do and took my youngest to the fair/car show here in town and didn’t get much garage time. Did manage to get the steering finally set and tacked in the way it needs to go to make it around the headers and motor mounts. So a win

Re: Patina56 build aka the never ending story
Well project adhd has set me on another path this weekend; cleaning up the engine for paint and finally putting all the parts on it that have been sitting around for months!
New cam heads and assorted bits associated with them. Next is to pull the transmission out for a clean up and matching paint job |

Re: Patina56 build aka the never ending story
Update;
Trying to get this thing to its first car show in June! It’s going to be under construction style but hoping to get it all together and moving under its own power. Bead rolled firewall is in high build for now just so I can put the steering and brakes back in and bend up some brake lines. And changed the wheels and tires due to clearance issues I don’t want to mess with now. I think they look better on this truck. Wish me luck |

Re: Patina56 build aka the never ending story
I didn’t make it to the shows in June or July but I was finally able to load it up and drag it to the northwest c-10 show in Issaquah. Didn’t get a chance to get it self powered so it sat on the trailer but was a good time anyway.
