I filled the bottle completely full, no leaks. This setup is driver quality, probably not for a restored truck. The bracket could be sanded and spray painted, and the bottle has some discoloration, as one might expect being 50 years old, perhaps it can be cleaned up.
I believe these items are reproduced, if a fresh looking bottle is needed for your project, not sure of the price.

I’m switching my 72 k10 manual over to auto , whould that cross member work for the change.? I’ve been told I’d need to change mine out that it wouldn’t work for a automatic.
