Re: 67 CST, no buckets - bench seat
^^^ yes… That would certainly tell us if it’s the same truck it came from the factory. If it’s from the same year but different truck its possible the interior was swapped out by the dealer. Or by a guy and his friend that both bought trucks and swapped.

Re: 67 CST, no buckets - bench seat
Also, you mentioned some other fawn or red interior paint indicators, can you show us those too?

Re: 67 CST, no buckets - bench seat
Well, shame on me =( . . . definitely not the original seat as I can clearly see on the build sheet - which does NOT match the SPID or the door jamb. Could have still been a dealer swap though - my truck came from Oregon via CA, but was assembled in the Fremont CA plant. Whatever truck this seat was originally in was shipped to Ben Russell Chevy Co., No 1 Main, Tillamook, Oregon and was a straight 6/M20 4spd as stated on the build sheet attached. Always helps to look at the information you have at your disposal. Thanks for the input guys- I'll see if I can get some photos of the paint job in the interior later today.

Re: 67 CST, no buckets - bench seat
It sure was an interesting thread. I'm still mixed up about it being a CST with fawn interior paint. This thread ain't over yet!

Re: 67 CST, no buckets - bench seat
My '67 CST is Vermillion Poly exterior w/ white top and Fawn interior. Seen a lot of '67 CST's and never remember one not having Fawn interior.

Re: 67 CST, no buckets - bench seat
I thought CSTs had exterior color like the following years. Guess I remembered wrong.

Re: 67 CST, no buckets - bench seat
My '67 K/10 Suburban has a White exterior and all Fawn interior*. My '68 C/10 Stepside has a 516 Orange exterior and interior with Fawn accents. Steering wheel and column, steel door panels were painted Fawn. Folding bench seat had ladder-pattern Fawn vinyl, Sunvisors, and Dash Pad also Fawn vinyl. Seat belts silver/grey nylon with Fawn plastic buckles. Even the clips to secure the visors were a Fawn plastic.
Both trucks out of Fremont. * Except the '67s glove box is crinkle Black.
